BCS CHAMPIONSHIP LINKS: Countdown to kickoff continues

While the Big Easy takes a break from college football on Saturday (the Saints play the Lions in the NFL Playoffs) Alabama and LSU continue preparations for Monday’s BCS Championship Game.

On Saturday, the media will interview the defensive coordinator, Kirby Smart and defenders Mark Barron, Josh Chapman, Dont’a Hightower, DeQuan Menzie and Courtney Upshaw. LSU will have the offensive side of the ball represented.
