Babe Ruth  Registration for the Tallassee Babe Ruth Baseball (13 – 15 yr olds) will be at the Tallassee Recreation Center on Tuesday, March 10 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The registration fee is $95 per player and $75 for each additional sibling and an optional $20 concession buyout. The registration fee covers the cost of insurance for players and coaches, uniforms for players and coaches, baseball equipment, umpire fees, official score keeper fees, field and grounds upkeep (line paint, bases, etc.), and cost associated with sponsoring an All-Star team for all three age groups. The concession buyout allows parents to buyout of working in the concession stand and covers the cost paying a replacement worker.  Tryouts will be Saturday, March 14 at the Tallassee Airport baseball complex at 10 a.m.  

To be eligible to play, you must be born prior to April 30, 1996 and on or after May 1, 1993.  A copy of the player’s birth certificate must be provided by all first time registrants.  Questions may be directed to Deric Murphy, TBRL President  at (334) 799-2035.

The last day for T-Ball registration is March 13 at the Recreation Department.  The cost is $35 per child and the ages are 4-6.  The games will begin April 4 and end on May 9 and be played on Saturday mornings.

Tallassee Youth Football League is hosting a Spring Dance at the Recreation Department on March 27 from 7-10 p.m. for grades 5-8.  The cost is $7 per person and there will be a dance contest and concessions available.

Church Co-ed Softball registration will dates are April 6 through April 24 at the Recreation Department.   Games will begin on May 4 and the registration fee is $400 per team.  Players must be at least 16 years of age.

Tallassee Swim Team registration will be held at Recreation Department on Wednesday, March 11 from 3:30-6:30 p.m.  The registration fee is $45 per child.  The ages are from 4-18.  Swimmers must also have a team swimsuit and swim cap.  Girls swimsuits are $45, boys swimsuits are $35, swim caps are $14.  Please bring your swimmer to registration, swimsuits will be tried on and ordered at this time.  New swimmers will need to bring a copy of birth certificate.

Dive Team registration April 6-17 at the Recreation Department.  The fee is $30 per child plus cost of swimsuit.
