Faulkner posted 36 hits in a sweep of Talladega College, 10-1 and 12-0, in a doubleheader at the softball complex Tuesday.

The Eagles scored three runs in the first inning of the opener and never looked back as they cruised to a 10-1 victory in five innings. Courtney Barber’s walk off two-run blast sealed the game for Faulkner.

The Eagles’ offense was led by Scottie Wilkes who went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and two scored runs.

The Eagles  blistered the Talladega defense with 16 more hits in just four innings, including a two-run shot by Harris in the third inning, in the second game.

Harris and Palmer both had stellar games, each going 2-for-3 with three RBIs and had two runs and a score, respectively. Ellisor was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs and a run and Erin Pierce was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a scored run.
