AUM launches new site The Auburn Montgomery (AUM) Athletic Department recently launched its new Website. The new Website will be managed by AUM Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations and Sports Information Director, Darrell Orand. “This is a project that has been discussed for a few years and we are very excited to have it available for the fans and alumni of AUM,” Orand said. “AUM’s athletic director Steve Crotz has met with me several times to go over the content we should present to our fans, family members and potential student-athletes and we have come up with a fresh and contemporary site that we hope will benefit AUM, our athletic department, coaches, programs and student-athletes.” The new site is being hosted and powered by eSolution Architects and their product SIDHelp. SIDHelp is a content management and web development system built specifically for college athletic departments. The SIDHelp network currently includes more than 20 conference sites and more than 60 institutional sites. Similar to the old site, the new site will feature AUM news, schedules, rosters, statistics, schedules and results and links to contact information and for potential student-athletes. The new web site will feature links to our live stat and live broadcast opportunities, Facebook and this fall, Twitter. “Our AUM administration has been extremely supportive of this project,” Orand said. “Chancellor Veres has been a tremendous supporter of this project as has been Susan Salter, Director of University Relations. Our university relations department has supported the athletic department in all of our printing and web materials in the past and their continued support and expertise of this project has been very beneficial for us.“ The new site can be accessed at www.aumathletics.com or can be accessed from the AUM website at www.aum.edu. |
