Hawks complete first session in full pads

Contributed Cloudy skies provided a cooler setting for Huntindgon College’s first day in full pads of the season. The Hawks completed a two-hour workout Monday morning. “The players took advantage of the cooler temperatures and came out competing this morning but still made mistakes,” head coach Mike Turk said. “We have to get the guys use to playing fast to simulate game speed during practice.” Other issues the Hawks look to address are depth on the offensive line. “We’re trying to find out which of the upper class-men are going to step up during camp and provide depth especially on the offensive line.” said Turk. The Hawks will begin two-a-day practices on Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m. and then be back on Charles Lee field at 4 p.m. Practices are always open to the public and the media. |
