The No. 13 Auburn University at Montgomery baseball team split its doubleheader on Friday against Webber International, taking game one, 3-2, while falling in the second game, 6-0.

Ivory White scored 21 points, Philip Crawford 17 and Ryan Watts 15 to lead Alabama State University (8-13/5-4 SWAC) to a 66-59 overtime win over Texas Southern University (7-14/6-3 SWAC) and in the process stop a three-game losing streak… Danielle Gazaway scored a career-high 17 points to lead Alabama State to a 68-47 win over Texas Southern  Monday evening at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome.

BATON ROUGE, La.—Alabama State (7-12,4-3 SWAC) ran into a red-hot Southern University (10-11,6-2 SWAC) team in a 68-56 loss to the Jags on their home court.  The loss was the second consecutive conference loss.

LORMAN, Miss.—Trailing 61-60 with 13 seconds left the Hornets were able to steal the ball and had three shots at a winning basket, but all three missed their mark as Alcorn State (4-14/2-5 SWAC) held on for the one-point win over Alabama State University (7-11/4-2 SWAC).
