JACKSON, Miss. —- Auburn University at Montgomery senior Michael Lee scored a team-best 18 points, but it could not overcome five Belhaven players in double figures, as the Warhawks fell to the Blazers, 81-70, on Thursday at Rugg Arena.

NAIA men’s national soccer championship headed to River Region

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has awarded the 2012 and 2013 Men’s Soccer National Championships to Montgomery, Ala. Co-hosted by the Central Alabama Sports Commission (CASC) and the Southern States Athletic Conference, the matches will be played at the Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex. The 2012 National Championship will be contested from Nov. 26 – Dec. 1 and the 2013 event from Dec. 2 – 7.

GULFPORT, Miss. — Sophomore Goffin Boyoko scored a tying goal with 1:17 remaining in regulation to force extra play and scored the game-winner 1:54 into double overtime as the No. 19 Auburn University at Montgomery men’s soccer team upset No. 5 Mobile, 3-2, in the semifinals of the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament on Thursday.
