Ivory White had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds and teammate Philip Crawford added a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead Alabama State University (11-18/8-9 SWAC) to a 63-61 win over Grambling State University (3-24/3-14 SWAC).

ROME, Ga. —— The Auburn University at Montgomery women’s basketball team outscored Brewton-Parker 18-6 during the final 7:21 of the game and turned a one-point lead into a 13-point victory, as it defeated the Lady Barons, 45-32, in the opening round of the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament Wednesday at The Forum.

TUSCALOOSA – On Senior Night, Alabama improved to 20-9 and 9-6 in Southeastern Conference play, winning its fourth game in a row and fifth straight over its in-state rival, with a 55-49 victory over the Auburn Tigers in front of 14,253 fans at Coleman Coliseum Wednesday.

Auburn University at Montgomery men’s basketball assistant coach Jack Waters has been selected one of 12 former greats from Southeastern Conference member institutions as a 2012 Allstate® SEC Basketball Legend. Waters and the entire class will be honored at the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament March 8-11 at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, La.
