The East Montgomery Angels (ages 9-10) won the state tournament held in Scottsboro, defeating Rogersville twice on the final day to advance.

Dixie Youth Baseball is back for another season.

Opening ceremonies in Montgomery are set for this weekend, beginning on Thursday. Due to this being "Zoo Weekend," some of the ceremonies have been moved to Saturday, April 9.

Dixie Youth Baseball and Softball registration continues this Saturday and continues through the next two Saturdays (three at some leagues) in Montgomery. Players ages 5-19 are eligible to participate.
