What do you take from the first week of the regular season?
It’s hard to pick where to start but with regional action beginning, most teams will know pretty quickly if they are contenders or pretenders in 2011. Last week may have given some indication but Week 2 will tell a lot more.

PRATTVILLE - The East Memorial Christian Academy (EMCA) Wildcats had to travel less than a couple of miles Thursday night to face their nearest region rival, but it seemed as though they didn’t show up at all.
Host Prattville Christian Academy (PCA) trampled its rival, 49-0, and, barring any unforeseen events next week, wrapped up second place in the AISA Class AAA Region 2, and a home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
