The Huntingdon men’s soccer program and head coach Kevin Ray have announced the addition of seven newcomers who have completed their intent to enroll paperwork and have committed to play soccer for the Hawks in 2009.

Under the direction of first-year head coach Wes Anania, the Huntingdon women’s soccer program has announced that six prep players have completed their intent to enroll paperwork and have committed to play soccer for the Lady Hawks next season.

The annual Alabama Independent School Association state tennis tournament is set for Monday and Tuesday at Lagoon Park. The first round of the tournament is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Play begins on Tuesday at 9 a.m.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Out of a total of 225 teams, the Montgomery Barracudas completed YMCA Short Course National meet in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. with a fourth-place finish overall. The men’s team finished fifth while the women’s team was 14th in the final standings.
