After a successful release of its first football guide in August, 2010, River Region Sports is excited to announce the release of the 2011 River Region Football Guide this week. The books are now available at various locations.

The schedule is limited to a handful of games but the River Region high school football season officially begins this week with games in the AISA.

Prattville Christian Academy made its third-straight appearance in the Auburn tournament recently with hopes of continuing a trend.
The Panthers had shown improvement in each of the first two appearances. Despite being the smallest school in the field (enrollment) as well as the only AISA school in the 25-team field.

The best of AISA baseball will compete in the annual All-Star baseball games will be played Monday at Troy University. The Juniors game open the festivities at 4 p.m. followed by the Seniors game at 7:30 p.m.

If there was any questions before, the Prattville Christian Academy Panthers have officially arrived as a basketball power in the AISA.
The Panthers celebrated their first Class AAA state championship of any kind on Saturday after defeating Lee-Scott, 62-54, in the boys’ basketball finals
