Schools in the Alabama High School Athletic Association have been reclassified for the 2012-13 and 2013-14 school years, according to an announcement Wednesday by Steve Savarese, Executive Director.

Edgewood Academy baseball coach Bobby Carr will conduct the ninth annual Elmore County Baseball Camp June 7-10 at Edgewood Academy… The Auburn University at Montgomery athletic department will offer a variety of summer camps for local youth this summer, including four sessions of basketball and soccer camp, two sessions of baseball and softball camps and four days of tennis camp for children and adults.

MOBILE —- The No. 3 Auburn University at Montgomery women’s tennis team will play for its 11th national championship tomorrow, after it avenged an early-season loss to No. 2 Embry-Riddle on Friday, defeating the Lady Eagles, 5-2, in the semifinals of the NAIA Women’s Tennis National Championship, being played at the Mobile Tennis Center.

Hawks men’s tennis wins conference title

Huntingdon College’s men’s tennis team defeated LaGrange College, 7-2, on Wednesday afternoon for Senior Day at Huntingdon’s tennis courts. With the win, the Hawks secured the Great South Athletic Conference regular-season crown as well as the top seed in the tournament.
