The weekend’s first-round action in the Alabama High School Athletic Association baseball playoffs provided several pitching gems.
But none better than the no hitter by LAMP’s C.J. Sauce in the Golden Tigers’ sweep of Dale County on Friday.

The regular season of high school baseball is wrapping up today and Tuesday but most of the playoff bids have been secured.
Several teams in the River Region have qualified for the playoffs, which begin Friday with the Best-of-3 series in the first round of the Alabama High School Athletic Association baseball playoffs.
