HOOVER - Tennessee head coach Derek Dooley and Georgia head coach Mark Richt could be considered on equal footing, at least when assessing the fact that the two teams finished with unappealing 6-7 records in 2010.

Yet, according to the so-called experts, the two are heading in different directions when it comes to fan-base popularity.

Based on questions at SEC Media Days on Thursday, Richt is on the preverbal hot seat while Dooley’s fortunes seem to be looking up.
